民謠歌手Dan Fogelberg（丹佛格柏），大概是5年級學生時代最喜歡的民謠歌手之ㄧ，他的名曲也是練習吉他的必選，個人特別喜歡他的幾首歌，包括：Longer、Same Auld Lang Syne、Leader of the Band等，都是以吉他伴奏為主。

1951年出生的Dan Fogelberg是位創作型歌手，音樂風格橫跨民謠、搖滾和鄉村，充滿詩意，素有「民謠詩人」之稱。1980年推出「Phoenix」專輯，讓他成為紅遍全球的歌手，其中的單曲Longer更以優美浪漫的抒情樂風及歌詞，成為市場的長銷歌曲。日前12/16因前列腺癌病逝於緬因州的家，享年才56歲。

Same Old Lang Syne/情景依舊

這算是一首「無言的結局」的歌吧！敘述與舊情人偶然久別重逢，共飲細說別後境況，
雖然也感覺到往日的情感還是藏在內心深處，無奈兩人已經各有所屬，最終唯有默然而去。

She didn't recognize the face at first

She went to hug me and she spilled her purse

She would have liked to say she loved the man

And that I must be doing wellI said the audience was helping me
But the traveling was hell.

“auld lang syne” 是蘇格蘭文，也是18世紀蘇格蘭詩人Robert Burns所做的一首民謠，直譯為 "old long since " 或 "times gone by" 或 "once upon a time"，意即 "美好的往昔"。

這是一首自傳式的作品，主要是描述父親對音樂的熱愛所帶給他的莫大影響
